They can be identified with a number that states the maximum current they can withhold. Once this current is surpassed (due to an overload or a short-circuit), the fuse breaks down and interrupts the flow of the current. The location and function of each fuse is stated in the owner's manual of the car or in the plastic lid of the fuse box.
The main fuse box is in the engine bay, on the left side. There are two more on either ends of the dash when you open the doors. And I believe there’s one in back for the rear section. If you can get the owners manual, it shows them.
I lost power to fuse #20 in the cabin fuse block. Can anyone share on where I can find a wiring diagram for that fuse and where it draws it's power from. I have power to the ECU/PCM and to and from the ignition switch.
Prior to replacing the radio I had to remove the radio fuse so my battery wouldn’t be dead daily. After replacing my radio, my suburban seemed to start with no issues and could sit a couple days and start fine. But after letting it sit 6 days I found the battery dead once again when trying to unlock and start . I replaced the battery 3 yrs ago. Are there other things connected to the radio fuse? No aftermarket parts on this vehicle have been added outside the radio . Any help would be great

So my 2011 Chevy suburban has been fluctuating on my oil gauge pressure for a while It has finally hit 80 and has been staying at 80. But I have no engine light that comes on when it does it should I replace the oil pressure sensor or what is there a fuse that could actually control the module to get it to stop fluctuating

My rear wiper blade, plate light, and driver brake light is out. But the turn signal that uses the same light bulb lights it up. Is it a fuse or wiring?
My driver mirror is not working with my turn signal, all my signals work except my driver mirror I also have power to the power mirrors but the led does not work at all. I had my oem mirrors on that I assumed burnt out but even with these new mirrors the driver side still does not come on the connection from the fuse box to the door controls has power but from the controls to the mirror it does not, but all functions on the door controls work any ideas?
Passenger headlight blinker works intermittently. The blinker bulb burns when the headlights are activated and when I double lock the car with the fob. When I turn on the blinker, the bulb does not blink. The mirror blinks. The tail blinks. I replaced the bulb. Replaced the headlight wiring harness. Replaced fuses. Cleaned connectors. Cleaned the ground. I know next to nothing about cars. I'm a google mechanic. Please help me with a solution. Also, the front passenger tire pressure sensor has stopped working. I recently had it replaced, so it's very new.
I had a wire running from the fuel pump to the fuse box under the hood that went into the fuel relay the stop light thing on the brake pedal was bad. I took it off, and I lost all power and now nothing work.
The overhead dome lights would flicker for about a month and now finally will not come on. The door lights come on no problem which leads me to believe it is not a door switch because they come on when any door opens. Ive checked all fuses and none are blown. Is there a relay for the overhead dome lights?
Simultaneously the reverse lights are not working and ive checked those bulbs.
