Air in fuel tank. Hard to fill with fuel.

Air in tank. Have to trickle the fuel in. Just happened. Vehicle 2009 Malibu. Never done that before. Could it be charcoal cannisters, blocked vent tube, gas cap ,bad valve or something else.

My Malibu stalls every time I go to fill the fuel tank and the tank plug is removed. It is then really hard to start the engine for the first time, any ideas?

I have the same problem with my Malibu lt v6 2008 and have no idea whatsoever what the cause can be. I have been told that it is not creating a vacuum. If you find the solution please tell me.
I solved the problem by changing the purge valve, which is located in the engine behind the intake manifold
Omg i was just bout to do this i will try. Do u go to mechanic bc i see its a easy repair.
