I have an Epica LT 2007 and, at the moment of stopping at a traffic light for example, the gearbox hits and it feels as if the speed got stuck. I was told the failure is in 3 solenoids or sensors that are located in the valve body of the transmission. Is it true? I wold appreciate your help.

Buddy, do a maintainance to the valve body of the transmission. It might not be the solenoids anyway. I recommend you to scan the vehicle to see which failure is indicated, and also check the transmission computer that is on top of the pedals and only takes two screws and two connectores. Remove it and take it to be verified.
Change the oil to a synthetic one and you will see that it gets better with time.
You need to replace the radiator with an original one, as if they are generic, they do not cool the same way or even its internal coil does not have the same pressure or flow capacity.

I have the same problem with my car and, when scanning it, it was indicated that the Stop Neutral sensor is damaged.

Buddy, try scanning your vehicle. It is possible that the MAF sensor is damaged. Such failure is indicated by the following codes: p0101 p0102 and p 0103. The three of them work together. Hope it helps you.

I finally solved my problem, Sanford and, effectively, it had to do with the MAF sensor. There are 3 wires that reach this sensor, and one of them was internally broken.
I have difficulty starting my 2009 chevy epic. Any help?

Hello, my Epica has been inactive for almost two years because it has a failure that no one has been able to solve yet. Its problem is that, when setting the first gears, revolutions raise almost to the top and then suddenly drop. When this happens, the car hits really hard; so much that, when it does, the yellow engine light turns on, not allowing me to accelerate, losing power and driving almost neutral. I need to turn it off and start the engine again so that it continues working properly. I really need some help.

What you need to do is to service the throttle body, and it will definitely get better: 1- remove the battery. 2- take out the MAF sensor, blow it and apply some spray for cleaning the carburator. Disconnect the thick hose that goes from the throttle body to the engine and clean it with the same spray, including the two little holes. 3- clean deeply the throttle body's turning device so that it has a better mobility when opening and closing. If you are able to remove the whole throttle body, that would be the ideal thing. You need to replace the air filter as well and clean the ducts that lead to the MAF sensor. You then wait for the spray to dry and try starting the engine. Please tell me if it worked. Hope it does!
levone, after taking the car to many different mechanics, the last finally found the problem and, effectively, it was the throttle body. It was dirty, he cleaned it and the strong hits and engine light disappeared. The only bad thing now is that it slowly hits when setting the reverse, just as when I decelerate it at 12 mph. Even though they are lightly felt, I am worried it can get damaged again. I was told that, as I drive it, the soft bumps will disappear. The only thing the mechanic told me I can do now is to buy a new throttle body. Is it expensive? Thank you very much for your comment, you were right.
Change your oil to a synthetic oil for automatic transmission and you will see how it gets better.
I have 2008 Chevrolet Epica and appear to have some kind of electrical fault. A few months ago I could hear the passenger door making a sound as if it was trying to lock or unlock when I used the central locking fob. The doors did lock so no problem i thought. Now the doors lock while driving especially when I indicate, the central locking button in the car no longer works and the doors seem to have a mind of their own - locking or unlocking. When I use the fob to lock the car, it will lock and then unlock itself, i do this a few times and it will remain locked. Any help ?

Hi, I bought an Epica with 78000 miles and, for almost two months, the car worked without any problems. The battery was then depleted and so I replaced it with another one in good state of 55 amperes. Some days later, a failure appeared: the vehicle starts working properly but, when reaching a temperature of 80 degrees, it stalls. Good night, I have three Epicas and all of them have had your same problem. What you need to solve it is to clean the injectors and change three little wires from a sensor that is located on top of the engine. It is a failure that appears every 50000 miles. Hope it helps you.

I have epica 2008 model, it was working properly, but once early morning I start and run its jerk there is winter light becomes on, and after that, it's taking too much acceleration but running very slow. Intermittently the car will not rev from idle for a few seconds (usually when it has warmed up) no problems when driving otherwise. It is better if I get the revs up by dropping down through the gears when approaching a junction. The other day when I was parked on an up slope the car would start then stall immediately & did it for 5 attempts before finally picking up the revs. I assume it’s a fuel delivery problem but I’m not to familiar with the working of a diesel.

There is a big problem at abs. Part number is 96812710. How can I fix the problem. I found a used part, but does it fit without any calibration? I heard that if the problem is at abs electronic you might have to to erase old car's info from the part.
