Je viens de faire réparer le block ABS.
Il s’agit d’un défaut connu de VW avec une durée de vie de 100 000 km.
2 possibilités :
- soit démontage et réparation du bloc en atelier (solution la moins coûteuse)
- soit remplacement et reprogrammation du bloc ABS
Chez VW, cela coûte 3200 euros…

ESP LIGHT comes on amber

Hello everyone, Can i get a help regarding an issue recently I changed the alternator so I had to drove to the house with no alternator only battery power source so when I replaced it all good but when I drive for 1h the ESP light comes on on my dash with amber color and don't go until I turn off the car but again when I drive almost 1h/ 45min comes on again what's the issue here?! What should I do ?!

Check to see if your tracking is out by turning the steering wheel to the normal position and take a look at your front tyre to see if there lined straight with your side wings if not then get that fixed fist. Or it may need calibrating with diagnostic test. This is based on esp light coming on if it comes on with the abs light as well then you need to test abs sensor and steering sensor. The other thing is abs pump or pressure brake sensor might be faulty (if it’s separate from abs pump)

The abs and esp icons come on when I turn on the engine. After 100m I turn off the engine, take out the key and when I turn on the vehicle again the indicator disappears. The brakes work normally. What could be wrong?
