Central locking failure
Hyundai Accent 2013 35000 km
The central locking works when opening or closing the doors. However, when activating the alarm, it does not work and I need to open or close the doors with the key. Does anyone know what might be the problem with it?

Hello, I have an Accent rb Sedan 2012 and exactly the same thing you are telling us happened to me. I finally discovered that the alarm in this cars is sometimes installed aditionally and, when passing the wire that feeds the central locking through the door joint, it has a low quality protector, which breaks with the rubbing of the opening and closure of the doors and, at last, causing the break down of the wires.

This is bugging me since some months ago... after 5 years of perfect performances, suddenly the car started to lose power while driving, the acceleration pedal would go full course, and the car would go by inertia, eventually having the engine shut down. After a minute, i can start it again and drive. A Hyundai official point though it was caused by 'dirty' diesel, and the diagnostic highlighted extreme low pressure in the diesel circuit. Draining battery
