SYNC / Radio / aux / Bluetooth / Settings not working

No function works except the radio.
When I press the media button, it blinks for a split second and then switches back to the radio. When I press the phone button, nothing happens, and the aux and USB ports don't work. Also, the panel always shows the battery as discharged. I have already replaced the relevant fuses, but the problem persists. I have tried resetting the system as instructed in the car owner's manual. Disconnecting the battery for 40 minutes also yielded no results. Has anyone encountered a similar issue?

There is a way to solve this. At least for me I have the 2015 one. You need to sit on the non driver's side and pull out the box infront of you (you need to push both sides in and then pull, there are things holding it up). Then you have free view on the fuses box. Then you need to find either on your car manual or on the Internet which of the fuses is the one for Bluetooth and the SYNC system. For me it's the one right in the middle of the rows from the box with the number 10 in red on the very right side. You just need to pull that out make sure to remember how the number is pointing in which direction. Then put it in after like 30 seconds or so and wait a little again about 30seconds. Then press the aux button multiple times until it switches from USB to your phone that should be connected again.

I have recently had a service but before then I was driving about 40mph and the car just wouldn’t accelerate it had power but wouldn’t accelerate now after the service it has done the same thing it will pull back for a second then it just lost all acceleration but had power to it still I tried changing gears nothing happens but it does rev as is in too low of a gear I’ve had 2 mechanics look at it and can’t tell whats going on and the spanner light keeps coming on before the car pulls back but last night when it broke down I had the MIL light come on the spanner light battery light was red and check engine oil light come on can anyone please help.

Good morning, the same thing happened to my Fiesta power 2005. It had all the symptoms you mentioned and even the engine trembled as well when the radio was turned on. After changing all the car parts like you did, I checked the computer and it was damged. I first tried repairing it, but the failure persisted. So I replaced by a new one and the problem was solved. You should check the wire that goes from the positive terminal to the relays that are on the battery's plastic box, as this was the wire that damaged the computer in my case because it was loose and, due to a constant bad contact, it damaged on its inside. I suggest you to take your computer to be checked, as every time I scanned it, a coil failure was indicated, but it turned out being that the computer did not send the electrical current to two of the injectors and that is why two cylinders stopped working. Hope it helps.

Your fuel filter must be dirty, you need to change it. If this is not the case, then your deposit might be full of impurities, which might have reached the engine.

The radio worked fine for a while. When listening to my my music off my phone while connected through SYNC, I heard a loud noise through the speakers. It happened a couple of times, but the radio worked fine. One day I turned the car on and it was in 1 hour mode. I've pulled and changed fuses. I unhooked my battery cables. No change.

We had the same issue in our 2014 fiesta. We pulled the radio out and it seemed to fix the issue. Got another radio from a salvage yard. Idk if it'll work for the 2016 fiesta but we pulled our new radio out of a 14 focus.

Driving car slowly died Had to coast and park. Let it sit for a min. Restarted it got it home barley. Let it sit restarted and it died. Jump started it ran died again. Now won't turn over. Jumpered the starter turns over but seems like not getting fuel. How do I service the immobilizer. All batteries and fuses checked out fine. Key fob unlocks all doors and trunk gate. Reset key fob still not working tried to start In neutral. Nothing won't turn over at all. When jumpered starter sounds strong.

Driver’s Electric Window and Electric Mirrors Not Working

After the battery died and I replaced the battery, the driver’s side electric window and electric mirrors stopped working. Note that the passenger’s side window works (even when using the switch on the driver’s side) but the passenger’s side electric mirror does not work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The engine is good it’s a petrol manual fiesta I think it’s the battery but when I try to start it, it try’s to turn over and then when I try again it just makes a ticking noise but if I jump start it, it works no problem but if I turn it off and try start it again it won’t start

Jump the car, after it starts disconnect the battery. If it does not stay running after you remove the cables then you need a new alternator.
If it stays running then you may need a new battery.

My 2012 ford fiesta is not starting when I try to start the car. There is no cranking sound. Only the lights on the dashboard turn on. Already checked the alternator, not it. Got a new battery, and that's not the problem. Changed the starter on the car, not the problem either. If the fuses might be the problem, what fuses should I be checking? I have a fiesta Mk7 Zetec S 3 door my issue with the car is every time I take the key out the ignition and lock my car door the stereo unit light stays on and never turns itself off and I woke up in the morning and the battery was drained I twisted the key and had nothing come on what is the issue I know it has drained the battery but is this a fuse fault or do I need a to change something else ?

Hi, my battery keeps going flat after approx 3 days irrespective of whether I fully charge it from a charger, or if the car has done a long run and the battery has charged from the alternator. Current drain with the car locked and alarmed is between .375 and .4 Amps. Google tells me this should be between 50-85 mA. So what is the correct figure? Battery has been checked at Kwik Fit and their diagnostic tools say the battery is good. Any help greatly appreciated.

I have done lots of googling and can’t really come to any conclusions

My key remote is not working.

Things i did to check;

- Changed Battery
- checked my key and print plate. There good!
- i can start the car.
- i can central lock my car. But not with the remote
- reprogramming. So 4 times on and off and push a button, turn off igition and then lock it. But it didnt work, also no sound when pushing a button.

Please help me out, maybe a fuze?

Anti locking issue

Whenever I leave my car unlocked every so often the lights will flash once and make the anti locking sound but it will not lock the car. This is draining the battery and so I have to lock the car when not in use to prevent. Also I can only open my boot with the button on my key, the button by my steering wheel to open the boot doesn’t work when pressed.
