It takes the power of the pistons to the exterior part of the engine so that it can be used. One of its ends it is connected to the gearbox through the clutch, and the other end has a pulley attached to it that transmits movement to the engine's accessories (the water pump, the alternator, etc.).
I have a problem with my 2004 Chevy Tahoe… I can drive it and it randomly shuts off while driving. The thing is if I try to start it back up after it cuts off it turns over but won’t start, but if I wait like 2 minutes it’ll start back up. Then I get going and it does it repeatedly over and over. I’ve replaced the crankshaft sensor twice thinking it could be that but apparently it’s not. What could it possibly be??
