Engine Shutting Off While Driving

Chevrolet Camaro 2015 Coupe 70000 km
My car suddenly shuts off while driving, I’ve changed battery, Fuel Pump Module, Fuel Pump Connector, Chassis Control Module, Spark Plugs but still the problem persists. All these diagnosis and repairs were done by the dealership but the problem still persists!

Yup. Same. Wtf is going on? I've replaced everything like you. Fuel pump is still going out every 200 miles.

Starting failure

Chevrolet Camaro 1994  197855 km
Sometimes, the engine starts working at the first attempt, but suddenly stalls. If I try turning it on again quickly, nothing will happen. I need to wait for some seconds and only then it will start working again. Everything has been checked, and even the coil and distributor's cover and connectors have been replaced. When this failures occurs, there is no spark in the spark plugs. Sometimes, the following day the problem disappears and starts working without any problems. I would appreciate your help.

Starts and stalls

Chevrolet Camaro 1995  15000 km
Good afternoon, I have a Camaro 95 v6 3.4 and my problem is that, when starting the engine, it stalls. I've already changed the ignition key as, at the beginning, the security appeared on the dashboard. After changing it, the indicator continued appearing, so the orange wire coming from the ignition cylinder was disconnected and a resistance of the same voltage was installed, but still no change. New coils and their plates were installed and even the fuel pump, filters and spark plugs were replaced, but without any positive results. I really don't know what can be happening. Thanks for your help.

Hi, have you checked the starter? And the crankshaft sensor?
Ode aus Vereinigte Staaten vor 11 Jahren
If you say that the security appeared it means that the alarm was activated, so I recommend you to take the car to an electrician and make him disconnect the wire. Remove the battery so that the computer resets. I recommend you to do this before buying the crankshaft sensor.

If your 1996 Chevrolet Camaro is turning over but not starting, and you're not getting any spark, there could be a few different causes for this problem. Here are a few things you can check to help diagnose the issue:

Ignition Control Module (ICM) - The Ignition Control Module (ICM) is responsible for triggering the ignition coil to fire, and if it's failing, it could cause a no-start condition. You can test the ICM by using a multimeter to measure the voltage at the module's input and output pins.
Distributor Cap and Rotor - The distributor cap and rotor can wear out over time, leading to misfires and no-start conditions. You should inspect these parts for cracks or other signs of wear, and replace them if necessary.
Spark Plug Wires - If the spark plug wires are damaged or worn, they may not be transmitting spark effectively to the spark plugs. Check the wires for cracks or other signs of wear, and replace them if necessary.
Ignition Coil - The ignition coil is responsible for amplifying the voltage from the ICM so that it can jump the spark plug gap and ignite the fuel mixture. If the coil is failing, you'll need to replace it.
Crankshaft Position Sensor (CPS) - The Crankshaft Position Sensor (CPS) is responsible for telling the engine management computer the position of the crankshaft, so that it can correctly time the ignition. If the CPS is failing, it can cause a no-start condition. You can test the CPS with a multimeter.

It won't start

Chevrolet Camaro 1997  76000 km
My Camaro z28, 1997 suddenly does not start. The engine begins running but won't finally start working. Coils and the crankshaft sensor have been checked but everything seems to be alright. There is no spark in the spark plugs, and I was told it is the computer that is failing.

Buddy, I have a Camaro with exactly the same problem and, effectively, it turned out being a failure in the computer prom.

This car in sit for some time like 7 years and I've been working on it I put ignition coil ignition coil module spark plugs battery fuel pump assembly the whole thing fuel pressure regulator bypass module. It was turning over just turning over over and over and over now no crank no crank up I had the bypass running through the relays I guess the theft deterrent on the right hand side of the seat passenger seat then I grounded the black yellow wire and crank up and run still shut off maybe after 15 minutes. My son was going to try to jumper off the ignition switch to see if it would run but it… Vollständig lesen

There is no spark

Chevrolet Camaro 1997  164000 km
There is no spark. I've already checked the optispark and crankshaft sensor and they are both alright. The coil and ignition switch are working properly just as well. What might it be? Does the crankshaft sensor send the signal to the optispark, then to the ignition switch and finally to the coil or how does it work?
