My 2L TDI may have similar problem. Engine cuts down to limp mode when I try accelerate.

Your engine cuts down to protect itself as it has a fault I suggest you buy a vag.com diagnostic device and perform a scan of the vehicle this will shed some light on the problem you have and potentially save you time and money. If you don’t understand how to use the device I’d be happy to help and explain what your issue is when the scan is done and you send me the log :)

Yes I have same issue can't find a solution when ignition on EPC error comes after starts it's gone any one knows about that ,works done had change coil and plug but not error goes

EPC, Battery, engine lights all on and won't turn over

So I have a 2011 VW Passat, it was working fine yesterday and when I got in the car today it wouldn't start. The battery indicator light is lighting up in red, and the EPC and check engine light we're all popping up in yellow. When I start it, it's getting power but it's turning on and off on and off on and off. It's like trying to get power to all the other parts of the car and failing to do so. What's wrong with my car? I checked the oil and the oil is fine I tried to jump it and that wasn't the problem either. What do I do?

Wait… “new battery”? he only stated that he’d tried to “jump it & that wasn’t the problem either”. No “new battery”, nor anything else -new- was added/changed if taking his inquiry @ face value. Just fyi & i’m letting u know in hopes some1 SOMEwhere CAN answer this cuz i had similar issue w/my old Passat i USED to own.

@T.L.I change my battery and mummy radio won’t start. It’s stays on a loop. And all these lights are on…

A friend told me the same thing about the new battery, have to take it to a repair shop so they can set the computer and battery together

Too many problems for a new car

Volkswagen Passat 2019 4 door 58000 miles

Vehicle just wouldn't start. Had dash lights and radio. Towed to the dealership and it took them one week to figure out what was wrong with it.
Lost the cooling fan for the transmission. The epc light is now on.

2012 TDI towed to dealer. No dash light or radio. Told the radio is blown.
