Seems this is making the car go into safe mode and making car need to be restarted well driving this is bad. Ford wants $160 for the replacement. Thinking scrap yard and perhaps I could save me some cash. Spent under 3500 so far for car and repairs. Seems lots of little issues. But I'm able to do most myself.
Anyone else out there got a rustang there trying to get to a million ?

I got this car semi recently as it was in decent condition and $500, when I have to give it more throttle to pull out into traffic and the vehicle gets more than 3000 rpm and it shifts the car squeals and one large shake as it's shifting, I took it to a shop and they told me it was the transmission mount as the rubber had deteriorated but even after replacement it doesn't do it as bad but it's still there. Is it time for a new transmission?

Getting up to speed the car will shift to 2nd and then keeping the acceleration up, it wont shift to 3rd unless I let off the accelerator, then it will go into 3rd, and then it flashes the engine light and will run like shit for a little bit, until the light goes off and will be back to normal, until I kick it down again.
