I believe it could be a fuse or something because it doesn't blow and there are no lights or anything to indicate that it's on. Please help!

Seems all 3 series have this problem, my car the same wont start i checked all, even the battery, antitheft alarm,i unpluged the battery and pluged, it again , tried to jump start it, nothing worked out. I changed the gaz pump too months ago still have the same problem. I think its an electrical issue, maybe have a timer. 😂

I’ve noticed that whenever I turn on the AC in my E90, the entire car blacks out—no power, nothing. This has been happening consistently.

Change your “hedgehog”
Open your glove box, along the closing trim you will see torx screws, take em out. At the bottom there will be a spinning heater, you twist it and it comes out. The heater has this metal heat sink on top of it, take it off and replace it with a new one or either get a used one from a junkyard its like 5$. It could be that its shortening for you?
Though for me my heater just died, but on max blowing it worked poorly. I just changed the entire whole heater.
