Depending on which wheel, front or rear, if the sound is a "grinding noise" then here are the most likely issues. If front axle, then first check the CV joint starting with the boot. If the boot is torn or leaking grease, then the joint is bad and must be replaced. If front or rear axle, then the brakes MAY BE worn down and need to be replaced. Also if front or rear, the wheel bearings MAY BE bad and would need to be replaced. All of these answers are assuming that all of the suspension parts are in good condition.

Wipers not working

Either your wiper motor has failed and needs to be replaced, or the gear interface from the motor to the wipers is stripped out.
1. Open the hood to your car after turning the ignition to the "ON" position, NOT "START"
2. Turn on the wiper switch and then listen for the wiper motor
3. If you hear the motor trying to work, then the gears are stripped and need replacement
4. If you hear NO SOUND from the motor, then either the motor has failed or the wiper motor fuse has blown; so one or both must be replaced

Trunk Won’t Close

My wife was picking up groceries from Walmart and the grocery loader slammed her trunk close and now it won’t stay closed. It’s always ajar.

Check the child trap prevention tag/mechanism. It is usually a "T"-shaped, glow-in-the-dark plastic tag attached to the trunk release wire. The mechanism allows kids trapped in a trunk to get themselves out in an emergency. It has been humorously called the "anti-mafia release". It's located inside the trunk lid and should be fully visible if you lie with your back & shoulders on the bumper while looking up at the open trunk lid. If you re-seat the glowing tab into the mechanism, then the truck should shut properly again. Check the car's manual for details.

Trunk leaks when it rains

The trunk gets wet when it rains. The water splashes around and soaks the back seat. Anyone else have this problem?

Tail light

Toyota Yaris 2020 Hatchback 98000 miles

Tail lights are not coming on together with the automatic gear light, window mechanism light and the lights for the fans... but when you press the buttons are working... only the lighting when it's dark. The light to see where is what kind of lights.
