Good morning. Two months ago, I bought a Hyundai Getz 2008 and, since then, I've been noticing important vibrations when the car is in neutral; the steering wheel, the pedals and even the driver's door vibrate. I took it to the mechanic and he told me it was one of the engine bases and another one of the gearbox; both of them were replaced but the problem persisted. He then recommended to change spark plugs and to clean injectors; it was done, but nothing got different. Check the oxygen sensor. It happened to me with a Hyundai Matrix that it trembled in neutral and, after replacing it, the problem disappeared. Hope it helps you too.

It might be a failure in the spark plugs and wires. It happened to me and I needed to change them for the problem to be solved.

Sounds like it may be the Harmonic balancing /crankshaft pulley moved position...

Steering wheel vibrations

Hyundai Getz 2009 30000 miles

Hi, I have a Getz and, after a collision and its repair, it vibrates when driving at 60 mph or more. It is a soft vibration that is only felt on the steering wheel. I can also feel vibrations on the driver's side when turning. I've read it might be a problem in the constant-velocity joint. Is it true?

Check the brake discs or the bearings. Check as well the tires, as the rims tend to curve a bit, causing the vibrations you mention.

Mainly find that to be worn tyres/balancing...or warped brake discs/needs to be skimmed or replaced...or engine mountings worn...or harmonic balancing has moved...

Lots of Vibration from +80km/h

Hyundai Getz 2007 100000 miles

Good day. I drive a hyundai getz 2007 model that's doing around 170 000km. Recently I noticed that when I drive the car at around 80km/h there is alot of Vibration on the the steering wheel and it gets worse the faster I go.

Hi,

I have a Hyundai Getz 2010 and when I drive on the motorway 100km/h my engine light comes on and my car starts to shake but then after a few minutes it fixes itself back up. This has been happening since April 2021. Recently I got the spark plugs replaced, coil leads and everything you can possibly think of fixed as my car has started to turn off randomly now when the engine light comes on (scary) even after having everything replaced and my car has gone to two different mechanics, the problem is still occurring. I even got asked to change to a better petrol option and now when I turn my car on it starts to shake. I don’t feel safe driving my car on any motorways :( has this happened to anyone else? Pls let me know as I’m getting so frustrated with the problem

Tires maybe... out of balance? The faster you go, the worse it gets? Check your front tires. Along with the alignment.
