Hyundai Getz 2010 104 miles
Hello, everyone. I have an automatic Hyundai Getz 2010 and I have recently changed its timing belt, spark plugs and filters, and maintained the injectors as well. The last few days, it has been having problems to start when cold. It was only after the second or third time of trying that the engine finally started working. And today, the car has not started at all; it seems as if there was no fuel. Might it be the carburetor? Please help me. The battery is new and the ignition has been serviced. Thanks.

The problem was solved and it was the alarm module, which includes a circuit breaker and it was failing. I removed it and the problem disappeared.

Car starts perfect when cold, does hard cranking when hot and not starting. Leave it 30 mins then starts without problem. This problem started when timing belt snaped and bended some valves, Head was completly overall by engineering shop. Engin was completely rebuild,Battery is new, starter motor is new, extra cabling put in from battery to ground and stator motor. Engin timing was checked and checked again Local mechanics cant find problem, no codes on code reader

Starting failure when cold

It seems to be the ignition bendix drive.
The crankshaft sensor needs to be replaced.
Have changed crankshaft sensor and cam sensor, and car still won't start. Always used to start first time. Have done a diagnostic test and it's showing no problems, but it doesn't start?? Any ideas?

Sounds like the fuel pump is bad or relay or filter is clogged

I cleaned all of my keys thoroughly to ensure no surface contaminants were blocking the transponder signal. I also disconnected the battery to reset the ECU, cleaned the area around the ignition cylinder to remove any potential metallic dust or grime, and ensured the antenna was securely repositioned. Since cleaning the antenna connection, securing the mount, and resetting the ECU, the car has been starting reliably. If you are pulling your hair out with "crank but no start" issues and your battery/alternator are fine, don't overlook the physical connection of the immobilizer antenna or the condition of your key's internal chip.
