Within 5 miles down the road, the rpms rev up to 5000, the mph drops, door locks are erratic, and loses power. Have to put in neutral then back in drive to get it to regulate. Unless it cuts off then have to brake slowly being the steering wheel locks up. Turn ignition off then crank it back up. Drives fine. Then next day does it all again. The cruise control quit working when this all started. New alternator and new battery within the last 2 months.

Battery had a arc mark on the negative side. Lost power to everything on the center console. The USB ports, the 12v plug, the hazard lights, the shifter, the drive mode selector has one light on but will not cycle.
