I have a 2002 Ford winstar and to say the least I got 100 miles out of it before the front pump seal blew out. Fixed that and about 6 other issues. Now I need to replace the entire transmission. I don't want to pay $1500 ( more then I paid for the van) but I do have a Ford Taurus year 2002 with a great transmission. Can they be interchangeable?

When driving the overdrive quits working about 30mph turn off o/d accelerate above 40 mph turn o/d back on works fine doesn't do this all the time.

Its called the sell or trade light. Unless you want to replace the transmission
Have you tried changing the filter and trans. Fluid?Could be all it is.
