Ford Maverick 2025 Hybrid XLT
The best:Good gas mileage, surprisingly comfortable seats for my body anyway, rear camera's ability to switch field of view.
The worst:1. I would have preferred a jump seat and a lot more bed. Japanese pick-ups from 40 years ago had 6-foot beds and were even smaller than the Maverick!
2. HVAC poorly regulates.
3. Lots of odd whirring, buzzing, sounds from up front (unlike other hybrids I've owned).
4. Infotainment system seems to have a mind of its own. A real PITA!

Ford Maverick 2025 2025 Ford Maverick Lariat HybridThe best:A lot to like about the 2025 Maverick Lariat Hybrid. Around town, it gets between 40 and 50mpg. 36 to 38mpg on the highway. Seats are comfortable, engine offers plenty of pep. Love the 360 degree cameras for parking and the back-up camera screen is enormous. Very well thought-out design both inside and out.The worst:I would appreciate just a bit more headroom getting into the truck. Once inside, it's great, but with a surgically modified back. it would be nice to have another inch of clearance at the door.1
Ford Maverick 2024 2.0L Ecoboost engine, 8 spd auto transmission, XLT trimThe best:The truck has so much power and accelerates very quickly... great for maneuvering thru traffic. The media system is a blessing the way I can send and respond to texts all hands free.The worst:Can't think of anything I don't like yet... 30K miles on it

Ford Maverick 2023 XLT/2.5L HybridThe best:It’s a great city vehicle. Has amazing gas mileage and saves a lot at the gas station. The truck is a lot bigger on the inside so there’s plenty of room. It has good get up and go as well so you don’t have to worry about being slow off rip. Definitely won’t help you tow a house but it has a modest towing capacity for how small of a truck it is.The worst:The few things I don’t like about it are very nit picky but nothing too bad. For example sometimes the infotainment system won’t connect to my phone and I have to unplug and plug it back in multiple times before it reads my phone. Also on the infotainment system it’s a little small for a basically brand new car and next to it is some random open space that’s so small it can’t even hold my phone, they should’ve just extended the screen or made it bigger. Another example is if you buy the base model (XL) for some reason there’s orange accents on the knobs and some buttons even though there’s no orange exterior color. Another thing I don’t like is how much it locks itself, I understand it’s an obvious safety feature but for example if I have groceries or just something in the back seat whenever I park or get out to grab it it will automatically lock the doors and I have to unlock it again.
