Ford Fusion 2010 Ford fusion s 2063561 miles
My power steering went out, in my 2010 ford fusion& my dash is saying power steering assist fault & advance traction control, I’ve checked all my fuses/ relays. Idk what it could possible be, I’ve tested my battery I’ve tried to reset it, but removing my negative battery cable. Can anyone tell me what could possibly fix my vehicle?

A mi fusión 2011 le pasó lo mismo. Tiene que ver con la alineación y el balanceo. Tienen la misma dirección asistida. En el mio encendió el advncetrack. Checaron con el scaner y corrigieron fallas de los sensores ABS, alineación y balanceo de las 4 ruedas. Borraron codigo ya solucionado el problema y quedó al 💯. Recomiendo lo lleves con alguien de tu entera confianza.

No Power steering when low tire pressure light came on. Has happened twice. First time had to have one of those fancy computer things to reset it and it worked great for months. Had more tire issues and same thing happened. I don't have access to one of the computers to reset it so I've been driving with no power steering for a hot minute. 😓 But new issue is fuse #48 keeps blowing. Has happened couple months ago and figured it out it was fuse. Then two days ago it stopped as I was leaving for work. Same fuse, replaced fuse it did it again. Has done this 3 times now. Steph

I had a similar situation, but the fuse didn’t blow, try checking the battery, I don’t know how this is connected, but my terminal was oxidized, which is why I got errors similar to yours, cleaning the terminal + resetting the errors helped solve the problem
You could have an exposed wire. This happened to me in my 2012 ford fusion. It was rubbing against a piece of metal in the car which causes fuse to repeatedly blow
I had this happen, it turned out that the tpms did not like how low the tread wasn’t on my tires. Unfortunately, we didn’t figure this out until after we had paid for the new power steering bar it worked for two weeks and then acted like it was broken again and that’s when the technicians figured out that we needed new tires instead of a $1400 power steering bar.

While driving down the road I got a God awful alarm telling me to pull over & I lost power steering! This is when I found out I don't have a power steering pump so can't check the fluid! @ the same time I get several alarms saying Service Advance Trac, Hill Brake Assist Unavailable, Hill Park Assist Unavailable & both traction control lights are on & stay on! Someone pleeze tell me I don't need to replace the rack & pinion! I've changed ALL the fuses that could have any kind of effect on it & Googled the shit out of it & can't figure it out! What would a wheel speed sensor have to do w/the power steering? I can't afford to take it into the dealership & this is way beyond my knowledge! HELP!

It wasn't in the same kind of car (2012 Acura TL) but I had an identical issue, and it turned out to be a busted alternator, causing the electrical system to go haywire
My 2014 fusion did this and it was the brake switch behind the brake pedal
