My engine light keeps coming on and off. Whenever I run the machine, it says there is a problem with my turbo. We've already replaced the turbo compressor and it helped for 2 weeks and the problem started again. Car cannot stay on while in place for too long or else the engine shuts off. I've gotten stranded a couple of times where I have to wait at least 30 minutes before I can attempt to turn on the car and move again. There's been a couple of times where I've gotten to my destination, car is fine, I go in and out of a store go back to my car and it won't turn on. Engine just turns off. Sometimes having the AC affects it as well.

I have oil coming from the vacuum pump and also looks as the turbo inlet/out supply line. When I turn my ac on it smells like used oil. My car also doesn't take no time to heat to the normal temperature hours after I have parked under my hood is still got to the touch. I know it's more than one questions maybe someone can help me.

My escape has been shutting down (engine shuts off but battery stays on) and when diagnosed shows cam sensors issue. They have been replaced 3 times with 3 different brands. Even replaced the solenoid switch. Each time after replacing them, it drives great for about 60 miles and then does the big "clunk" and shuts down. My mechanic is at a loss. Previous owner had to take it to the Ford dealership to have the turbo replaced but was told that should be lifetime fix.
I am wondering if this is an ECM problem throwing weird and random codes? And how realistic having the ECM replaced would be in fixing the problem?
