Lost key need to start

Dodge Grand Caravan 2002 3.8l v6 es grand caravan  180527 miles
I lost the key so I got one from the junkyard and now the anti theft is not letting me start the car I've done all the little tricks with the battery terminals held together for a half hour I have put the car on a battery charger with the ignition on for over an hour and still nothing has reset so does anybody have any advice for a individual that doesn't really have a lot of money

Does anybody have suggestions cuz I'm going to burn it to the ground because that's what happens when I mess with electrical and I would prefer not to do that my wife will kill me not literally

I don´t think any of those diy solutions would work. The only thing you can do is to use a proper scanner to pair the new key with the ECU. That's the only way to make the ECU recognize the new key, it's a matter of software reprogramming.
