I put regular gas into my tank and now my Eclipse won't start.

Mitsubishi Eclipse 2007 Spider Eclipse 105000 miles
I was putting regular gas into my car for approximately 2 years. The price of gas went up to $4.95. Now my car is turning, however it will not start. How can I fix the problem? What can I mix the current gas in my tank with premium gas.

The mechanic said that my car alarm was faulty. He had to reset the computer in my Mitsubishi Spider Eclipse. The cost was $170.

I had a similar problem with 2000 eclipse GT. My issue ended up being the distributor. They have 2 dif ones... 2000-2002 have L shape fuse box under hood and only fits them years. They have a 1 pole cam trigger. 2003+ have a square fuse box and have a 4 pole cam trigger. I changed out with a used distributor and cured my no start! Hope it helps.

Would a bad distributor still give you spark? Is it possible that a bad distributor will still give you spark?
