Clutch Problem

Mazda 323 2001 Hatchback,1.4L , B3 Engine 168000 miles
Good day all, I have a stressful situation at hand my Mazda 323 has been giving me issues with engaging gears I recently replaced the master cylinder thinking it was ''done'' still had the same outcome , went on to replace the slave cylinder by the gearbox end.

But then to no luck the issue is still not solved but I noticed that whenever I press down my clutch pedal to engage a gear there is a a funny sound almost similar to cricket coming from the clutch and where the slave cylinder is. Anyone have an idea what could this be? PLEASE HELP!!!!!

The noise that you hearing when you press your clutch might be the release bearing inside you gearbox.
