RPM surge whenever the car is in park or when stopped in traffic

Ford Explorer 2016 3.7L 135000 miles
The RPMs start to surge when the cat is in park with and without the AC/heater is on, when the car is stopped in traffic the surge starts

Mine only happens on start ups, i give her some high revvs and it stops

Also goes away when I rev it however it comes back after a little bit

Your engine throttle body is dirty. Have someone or a shop to clean your throttle body and reset eng codes.

I had replaced it and the issue still kept happening, my alternator started going out and I got it replaced after it was replaced the RPM surge went away completely.
