I have bought the new Pathfinder at the beginning of the year and it already jerks at low engine speeds. The gearbox has been changed twice and, even though the failure is not as hard as it used to be, it is still there.
How can Nissan get away with this... we have the same issues in Australia on a new car under 25k and it seems the replacement of the transmission is not a 100% fix. What next?
Im not sure whats wrong with yours? My pathfinder is on 01 and between second and third gear if im not getting on the gas it kinda slips. They said its a cheap fix a flipper valve
My gearbox was replace twice within the first 30000k has now done 60000 and the issue has not come back lets hope it stays that way. Nothing is cheap about the gearbox even the valves will require a major labour work.
Since my car reached 10000km, it has been presenting several problems: power loss, tries to stall and even jerks. It is dangerous to drive it at low speeds. No solution has been yet found.
If your car is equipped with CVT transmission then go to your nearest dealer to replace the CVT. For your information this should be covered under warranty
