Nissan Altima Bucking

Nissan Altima 2013  140000 miles
My Nissan Altima started bucking while I was driving. It seems like it was going to stall. I checked the coolants and it was empty. I put antifreeze but didn't check the radiator. The next day I was driving and it started overheating so I put the heat on because I was on the road. I'm afraid to take it to a mechanic because I'm a girl and I don't want them to overcharge me in case it's something easy and I can fix it myself. Any suggestions?

Overheating and bucking are serious problems that need to be addressed, and you should take your car to a mechanic as soon as possible to have it inspected and repaired.
The first thing the mechanic will likely check is the coolant level and the radiator. If the coolant was low, it could have caused the engine to overheat and the bucking. The mechanic will also check the engine temperature sensors and the cooling fan to make sure they are working properly.
If the radiator and cooling system are functioning properly, the mechanic may check the engine control system, such as the ignition and fuel systems, to see if there are any issues with the way the engine is running. The bucking could be caused by a malfunctioning sensor or component, or by an issue with the transmission.

Many failures

Nissan Altima 2012
I own an Altima 2012 which has presented lots of inconvenients: oil leaks through the crankcase, the car jerks considerably, it does not accelerate as it should, the radiator was damaged and it has suffered an overheating problem due to the antifreeze deficit.

The power loss failure can be related to a damaged catalytic converter, which is a manufacturing problem that car model has. You can try removing the converter and your problem should be solved. Good luck.

Altima cars have got oil pump and camshaft manufacturing problems. You should inform your inconveniences to the agency and it should be repaired without charging you.

Dashboard indicators

Nissan Altima 2003  180000 miles
Suddenly after 3 hours driving my vehicle, the battery's and handbrake's indicator turned on in the dashboard. It did not stall, overheat or fail in any way, but they remained on for 10-15 minutes and then went away, appearing back after a considerable distance. This event takes place sporadically so I would like to know what should I check: alternator, fuses, dashboard, computer...? Any help would be appreciated.

You should check the alternator, which seems to be changing its voltage and thus a diode must be damaged. The voltage can be between 13.5 to 13.8 volts.

Just went through this w a 1999 Alt, e brake light and battery light on all of a sudden but not driving change. It was indeed the alternator (was putting out only 12.8) Changed it out it zero troubles since.

Engine won't start even after changing sensors

Nissan Altima 2004 3.5 SL, V6 Engine with dou me exhaust  90105 miles
After overheating and the gasket for burnt, the gasket was replaced and a new double fan radiator fixed. I discovered later that the car stops working on motion, takes longer time to start and then drags when it starts moving for a while.

Somehow, ignition shutting down on motion stopped but it now takes longer time to start. The kick was fixed and 3 sensors changed. After changing the sensors, we discovered the engine is not starting again. It started once and went off by itself.

It gives a signal as if there is no enough fuel but there is.
Please what can be done?
