Nissan Altima 2003 127000 miles
When starting the car in cold, a noise appears as though metals where touching themselves, coming from the oil pump's location. It seems like the pump could not suck the oil properly. The engine released some blue smoke and had to be repaired, and many other parts have been changed, including: cylinder head gasket, oil pump, distribution chain, crankshaft and camshaft sensors, water pump, damper, battery, alternator, ignition coil and engine holders. I have not changed the engine's oil because I was told it was clean enough, can this be the problem? I was also thinking about the IVT or solenoid control valve, which controls the oil's pressure. Can you tell me about your experience? Thank you!
