When the driver steps on the brakes completely, the ABS stops the wheels from getting blocked, and this allows the driver to keep on maneuvering the car without losing control. Likewise, this also happens when the driver steps on the brakes while on slippery floor. When the ABS is activated, some strong vibrations can be felt in the brake pedal. There is a light on the dashboard that comes on if there is a failure in the system or if it stops working.
I Bought My Kia 2 Years Ago Haven't Even Driven 500 Miles I Have Had It In 5 Shops Now ESC Brake And ABS Lights Stay On Dash The Car Is At Cottman Transmission Right Now But They Say Nothing Is Wrong With The Transmission They Say It's A Electrical Issue But Can't Find It Car Only Goes 20 MPH I Don't Know What Else To Do Does Anyone Have A Idea Of What This Could Be I'm So Desperate For Help
Sorry it is a 2007 kia sportage lx but I found my issue it turned out that it was my throttle position sensor I had it changed and the person who changed it didn't have it set right who would have thought that it would cause my transmission to go into limp mode that's so crazy but now my sportage is driving great I hope this can help someone else who is having this issue thank you for allowing me to post this 😀
Warning lights for abs, downhill brake assist on and gear change indicator not working. Also. Cruise control doesn't work and start stop not working. All happened at once. Replaced battery and still same.
Anyone got any ideas??
Is the car charging off the altenator? Also check the fuses in both fuse panels. One on the end of the dash on the driver side and one under the hood on top of the inside fender.
