When driving along an inclined unpaved road without accelerating, and even sometimes braking a bit, the van suddenly stalled. I have noticed it has something to do with the lamps as, when the vehicle is about to stall, lamps fade.

Check whether there is a bad contact in the battery's terminals, or if they are a bit loose. This would cause the failure you mentioned.

You simply need to clean the throttle body, and it should be done by a trustful mechanic.
