CVT failure in Reverse SolvedSolved

Honda Fit 2007  85000 miles
When changing it to Reverse, the car starts vibrating and a hit is heard. This is repeated while the Reverse is selected. The last transmission oil change was two months ago in the agency and I make one every year.

Check whether the oil level is the right one, because when there is a deficit, those failures appear.

Buddy, check the engine's holders as the problems you mention appear when they are damaged or in bad state. I recommend you to take it to a mechanic as they know how to check this anomaly. It is so easy that they should not even charge you for that.

CVT transmission problems

Honda Fit 2017 Gk3 44000 miles
When accelerating from 30 to 40 km, there is vibration and / or shocks. With what it can be connected? maybe the problem is not in the variator? maybe it's time for an oil change? or something different?

Jerks when starting SolvedSolved

Honda Fit 2006  160000 miles
Hello, my automatic Honda Fit 2006 started failing and it seems to be a standard vehicle. This is because, when starting the engine, speeds do not enter properly and I need to introduce first gear and then return it to direct. A mechanic told me it was a CVT transmission failure, which cannot be repaired. Is there any other option? Has anyone had this problem? How did you solve it? Thanks.

Hi, everything can be solved. Before anything is done to the automatic transmission, take the vehicle to an Honda certified workshop, scan it and ask them to check it personally. On the other hand, CVT boxes can be repaired and even its parts can be found individually.

Thank you, Tranquilla, that's what I did. I took it to an Honda agency and the problem was in the spark plugs, there were some that were burnt. They were replaced and the car is now working without any failures. Thank you for your response.

My automatic Honda fit Aria is jerking when shifting to gear one and at a low speed... And it accelerates better at higher speed.
I have replaced new plugs, fuel pump, braking pads but there is no improvement.
What could be the problem?

Check your fuses. This could be from an ignition coil issue.

Car jerking when accelerating.

Honda Fit 2009 1300 (CC) 12353 miles
My car is jerking every time I accelerate, sometimes even going at 30 km/h. I went to a mechanic and he said it's the CVT; that it cannot be fixed on the island and that all to be done is change the transmission oil with the original manufacturers oil. That it wont fix the problem but it will make it not get worse and the jerking might go completely or just be felt less.
