Breaks are probably stuck on. Put Grease on the calipers so they will release. If thats not it try cleaning theline by taking the caliper off and forceing it open with chanle locks that will push the fluid back through the line into the resivor hopefuly uncloging what is keeping it ingaged. Worh a shot?
Inkman66 from Canada a year ago
I agree with the previous comment. It is likely that the calipers are not moving properly they need to be either serviced and rebuilt or replaced. This is a good opportunity to check wheel bearings as well, since they may also be corroded.

Excessive road noise

Honda Accord 2010 Sedan EX-L 160288 miles
Hey guys can someone help shed some light on my situation. When driving fast, slow, or even normal speed it sounds like my engine is in the passenger seat. When I first got the car last year I though it was because it was a v6 and it was just louder. Not the case then I though maybe it was a tires that were installed but a year later with the same tires and still has loud road noise in the cabin. I’ve done research and I’ve read it could be a number of things. But before I start buying parts I don’t need and waist time and money can someone tell me what to do if you know what I’m talking about… Read complete

Issues 2009 Honda Accord LX 4dr 2.4L

Honda Accord 2009 LX Sedan 2.4L 5A
Rear tires overheated to the point that it would burn a hand that touched it on 6-11-2012 (mileage 46,384). Smelled of burning rubber. Had to replace the left rear brake caliper, brake pad, and rotor. On 4-18-2013 (mileage 65,922) the same problem on right rear. This required replacement of the right rear brake pad and rotor. On 6-13-2014 (mileage 93,310) the same overheating occurred and required replacement of the rear brake pads. The latest occurrence was on 3-16-2015 (mileage 112,411). We have an appointment to have this examined in two days so do not yet know the diagnosis. I am very concerned that this failure could occur while we are driving and could result in a fire, blown tire, or crash.

(2014)tire pressure turned on .. When taken to the dealership the tire side wall was already damaged and needed to purchase a new tire. 2nd incident, tire pressure light turned on at 730am on sept 23,2015 .. When vehicle was taken to be seen at 8am they said the side tire wall was damage and needed to purchase a new tire. If tire pressure gauge notified properly there would be no need to purchase tires

Tires loosing air pressure

Honda Accord 2010 sedan/4cylinder 200000 miles
The tires always loose air pressure slowly. One of them quicker than the others. They are the original rims and every time I go to the tire place, or to switch from standard to snow tires they always seem to have a slow leak around the bead. Like they don't seal properly. Why is that and can anything be done?

This all happened with 10 seconds time. I took immediate exit and park on side and found a rear tire was ripped off with about 2,3 inches left on wheel. The car was purchased new 7 months ago and was about 7500 miles at time of accident. Before the incident, all tires and car have not have any issue. At incident, traffic is light, clear weather 2 pm, road condition is great. I took wheel with rim of remnant of tire to nearby goodyear dealer and was told i could not claim warranty without the whole tire with me. The tire is goodyear eagle ls2 235/45/r18.

Is such a vehicle safe to drive with a child? how safe is the vehicle situation?

does honda american know about the problem?

i did some search and reading on the internet for the defined problem, model year and components. It is noted that there are others as well with same issue which has resulted into uncomfortable and potentially life threatening driving conditions. I don't think dealership should be responsible.
