Thermometer keeps getting stuck + mysterious knocking noise rear door

Honda Accord 2018 Sport, 1.5T 8000 miles
Been back to the dealership 4 times and am scheduled for a 5th later this week to resolve these issues.
Thermometer seems to keep getting stuck. Doesn't matter if I just started the car or if I've been on the road for hours. It randomly gets stuck. Not a big problem except I know the thermometer is connected to the A/C and has an impact on cooling.
The knock seems to come from the rear passenger door area. I'm not 100% sure because I'm driving when I hear it. The dealer's adjusted, tweaked and even added foam but the knock keeps coming back.

Anyone out there experience the same and what was the fix...?

I love the car otherwise but I'm starting to lose my patience with it.

Thanks

Problems 2012 Honda Accord EX-L 4cyl

Honda Accord 2012 EX-L Sedan 2.4L 5A
On 8/03/2015 i was rear ended by another suv that failed to stop while i was waiting behind a red light. The impact of the accident was severe enough to force my car to hit the other car in front of me and consequently i was taken but the ambulance to the local hospital for further physical examination. I am writing you this because after my release from the hospital i noticed due to the high speed impact the air bag light in my car had been turned on yet the air bag itself never deployed. Therefore i would like to make an official complaint and inquiry about the honda auto company. I believe i might have skipped very serious physical injuries perhaps by luck yet the fact that the airbag of my honda never deployed is rey disturbing to me. I would appreciate your help in this matter.

This vehicle has been fine up to 9,205 miles. We have bought this vehicle back three times to our honda dealer including this original date for shuttering, jerking, vibration, lagging and loss of power 0-25 m.p.h. Worse with a/c or econ button on as well. Also while driving, transmission jumped out of gear then revs out then goes back into gear, this problem happened once on deceleration into a residential turn. This problem occurred after our last visit to dealer in july 2015. Vibration seems from drive line in gear and was told this is normal by dealer. These issues i feel are not normal. Upon entering our street, suddenly the vehicle stalled totally out and came to a stop in middle of the road! we rolled it over to the side, it is a neighborhood street; then started car again and went slowly downhill to the house; car stalled again just outside our house, we could not get it into driveway, very strong fuel smell; we pushed it to get it parked on the street. 2013 Accord 4cyl issues

Honda Accord 2013 Sport Sedan 2.4L CVT
While driving on florida turnpike at approx 65 mph, i first felt a subtle change in the tires/traction of the car, so i look at the dash to see if i had a low tire pressure indicator, nothing. I took my foot off the gas, and i felt a slight swerve, then i saw "eps!" indicator on the dash. The steering wheel was completely locked up, with no play left to right at all! completely stiff. I let the car continue to coast because i was scared to apply the brakes if it would make it worse, thank god no one rear ended me, and as the road curved, i ran off into the grassy median of an exit ramp and not… Read complete

Issues 2010 Honda Accord LX-P 4dr

Honda Accord 2010 LX-P Sedan 2.4L 5A
I found that honda accord has recalls. I got my oil change in april/may - 2013 for my honda accord and honda dealer found everything good and brakes were close to 8 (on the brake measuring scale) on all the wheels. In just 2 months, the rear brake started making noise and then i came across the honda accord brake recall issue. Now i have got the repair done and sent the details to honda. Honda is denying the reimbursement saying that my car does not fall in the recall category (they have selected some vins which meets those conditions). My question is how honda can decide which vins have the problems and which does not have until people report them. Anyway, i am very unhappy with honda about not reimbursing this repair cost. *tr

In my test drive lasting 10 - 15 minutes i did not notice it, but after two weeks of ownership and driving the car 1 hour each way to and from work, i have noticed that the head rest sticks out so far that it is impossible to get comfortable in the car, and additionally, it hurt the thoracic portion of my middle back. Fix Accord 2012 EX-L 5A

Honda Accord 2012 EX-L V-6 Sedan 3.5L 5A
Purchased a new 2012 accord in june and have been very happy with it with one very big exception; the drivers seat has a definite design flaw. The seat is basically impossible to adjust to a comfortable position and there is no doubt it does cause lower back pain. On any drive over 15 minutes, the seat has to be repeatedly re-adjusted to be able to continue driving with any semblance of comfort. From what i can see by researching complaints on the internet, the problem is caused by a safety device embedded in the seat back that activates in a rear end collision. This complaint has been report… Read complete

My '09 honda accord started having brake noises at under 20k miles. Upon taking in the first time at 22k miles i was told the car needed new rear brake pads and resurfacing already. After much complaining (because brakes aren't usually a warranty item, and this was prior to the class action settlement) they did repair and replace them for free. 1 year later i began experiencing a shimmy when braking on the freeway or especially on a hill, and was told then that the front rotors are now magically "warped". 2009 Accord EX-L V-6 4dr problem

Honda Accord 2009 EX-L V-6 Sedan 3.5L 5A
At about 20,000, our 2009 honda accord (v6) started having rear brake noises. We took it to the west covina dealership and they said the rear pads were worn and needed replacing. I said that is very premature to have rear pads wear out so soon and they said it is normal and would not consider any warranty replacement or discount as it was normal wear and tear. We took it to our local independent shop and had them replaced. Strange that it was both inner pads that had worn out--the outers had about 50% life left.*tr

I own a 2009 honda accord. At around 25000 miles i heard a noise from the rear wheels. The honda dealer where i had purchased the car told me my brakes needed to be replaced. I stated there must be some defect in the vehicle or brakes because the brakes should not need replacing that soon and the rear brakes should never need to be replaced before the front brakes. They said it was normal wear and charged me the full price of more than $250 for replacement. They admitted the new brake pads were "a longer lasting material". I was not aware of the well-documented deficiency in 2008-2009 accord brakes at the time and the dealer did not mention the issue nor offer any discounts. *tr

I returned to dealer and was reassured that this was normal for new brakes on honda accords and that over time the sound would stop. At this point, the car was at less than 1,000 miles. I currently have 22,000 miles on the car and i was informed that the rear brakes are worn to 2 mms. Similarly front brakes are prematurely worn and are measured at 6 mms. Then around 24k miles the noise came back and was unbearable. Took to dealership complained brakes wore out too quickly. Said it was normal wear and tear and i had to replace brake pads and resurface rotors. Paid $130. 00, dealer gave free pads, but made me pay to resurface rotors. Told me the front brakes will have to be replaced soon cause car shakes when braking, rotors need immediate resurfacing.
