Dash lights and 5th gear only. In an auto
Chevrolet Captiva 2007 SUV 124000 miles
I changed the lead from my battery to the fuse box. Once done I have no Dash lights no central locking,unless done with key in door and it's a auto but seems to be stuck in 5 gear

Press demister button. It activate all. Don't know why ? I still need take to a auto electrician

Your bcm has failed. Faulty soilind in the bcm. Leave key on pull plug from bcm. One at a time. Hard to get to. Its behind the leaver park and drive. Under strero. Dont let battery flat. God bless.
