Ford ranger 2.2tdci not starting after replacing turbocharger. I reset

Ford Ranger 2011 truck 350679 miles
After replacing the turbocharger, it cranks but not start. I reset timing but it just don't start. Timing is right but when turning the engine, it sounds as if the piston is hitting under the cylinder head, i fitted över size cylinder head gasket but it still don't start.

My ford ranger 3.2 t6 2013 cranks, starts and then stops

Ford Ranger 2013  200000 miles
My ford ranger cranks ,starts and then cut off again. I replaced my old engine with another engine, turbo charger, throttle board. It usually cranks and then starts again after a few minutes or hours. Sometimes it goes into safe mood but after a few minutes it removes itself again and sometimes it stops whilst trying to reverse it. What might be the problem?I've tried putting it on the machine bt the only issue being shown is to do with the rear speed sensors but my mechanic believes this has nothing to do with it cranking, starting and then failing to start again whilst showing a battery light and oil light switch light on the dashboard.

Check the big plug behind the passenger kick panel in the footwell. It is pulled tight and the pins can progressively pull out of the opposing plug, dropping power to dash and security immobilizer. Unplug and check all pins and sockets are the same length (push in from behind if not).

Temperature raise and water leakage

Ford Ranger 2000  250000 miles
Hello everyone, I have a Ranger engine maxion 2.5 turbo diesel and its problem is that the temperature goes high and water leaks through the deposit. I've changed the viscous clutch and the water pump, an hydraulic test was made and the gasket, rings, metals and even the radiator have been renewed, but the problem is still there. Does anyone know what might be wrong?

I had the same problem and it was solved by buying a new radiator plug, as the other one was really dirty and the spring was damaged, and that is why there is a water leakage.

Hi, unfortunately yours is one of the worst problems of the maxion 2.5. I recommend you to make the amendment of the cylinder head, as well as to change the gasket for a new and original one. Unluckily, the maxion's gasket are made of duralumin, a material which is not too resistent to the high temperatures and pressures generated in the gasket itself. The plugs radiator has nothing to do with your problem. One more thing; it is really important that you put the original motocraf refrigerant in its proper dilution with distilled water, as it raises the boiling temperature of the liquid and thus generate only the right pressure. I hope my comment helps you.

Transmission

Ford Ranger 2007 PJ Ranger Crewcab P/U XL 4x2  56544 miles
My ford ranger XL 3ltr turbo 4 cylinder dual cab ute keeps jumping out of 3rd gear. What could be the cause of this and how to fix it???
What will be rough estimate of cost to fix. Will it need a whole new transmission?
Will jump out of 3rd whenever it feels, flat ground or incline/decline.

Probably a worn gear or synconizer in the transmission. That would require replacing a gear or two.

Car Wont Start after Injection Pump and nozzle Service

Ford Ranger 2011 Double Cabin / WLAT1272647 Diesel 2500cc / XLT 2.5 145000 miles
Before the Service the car had power from 1-100/120 but after that I could not make it go as fast as 160-180. Then I contacted a mechanic and he opted we change all four nozzles and check the injection pump plus the turbo. The pump was measured and deemed to be working fine, the turbo was serviced and the nozzles changed. After that the car started but it lacked power and white/grey smoke was almost constantly coming out (which wasn’t the case before, there was smoke but not as much) on top of that problem after some settings and adjustments on the injector pump more power was on the car but n… Read complete
