Hate to say it bud but I just went through this you have air in your hydraulic clutch line. It will require you to remove driverside inner fender and take out master cylnder rotate it so the hoses are up higher than the rod and puch it in as far as you can then install and witha friend pump the clutch and hold them bleed from the slave cylinder this should give you an idea but watch a few bleeding vids on you tube

Stalling when clutching, Unstable idle

Ford Ranger 2013 3.2 Manual 4x4 Doublecab 70000 miles
When I brake (and press clutch) the rpms drop lower than they should, often resulting in stalling. I have replaced the injectors, and serviced the vehicle but still nothing. My plan is to replace the idle air control valve, but if anyone knows what the problem is please let me know.

Temperature raise and water leakage

Ford Ranger 2000  250000 miles
Hello everyone, I have a Ranger engine maxion 2.5 turbo diesel and its problem is that the temperature goes high and water leaks through the deposit. I've changed the viscous clutch and the water pump, an hydraulic test was made and the gasket, rings, metals and even the radiator have been renewed, but the problem is still there. Does anyone know what might be wrong?

I had the same problem and it was solved by buying a new radiator plug, as the other one was really dirty and the spring was damaged, and that is why there is a water leakage.

Hi, unfortunately yours is one of the worst problems of the maxion 2.5. I recommend you to make the amendment of the cylinder head, as well as to change the gasket for a new and original one. Unluckily, the maxion's gasket are made of duralumin, a material which is not too resistent to the high temperatures and pressures generated in the gasket itself. The plugs radiator has nothing to do with your problem. One more thing; it is really important that you put the original motocraf refrigerant in its proper dilution with distilled water, as it raises the boiling temperature of the liquid and thus generate only the right pressure. I hope my comment helps you.

Engine cranks but will not start. White smoke from exhaust

Ford Ranger 2013 Ute 290000 miles
I noticed the idle hunting while stationary and decides to head home so i could inspect the issue. When i clutched in to come to a stop at an intetsection the ute stalled. Having not come to a complete stop i let the clutch out to roll start the ute and huge amounts of white smoke came from the exhaust and the ute would not start. *Engine cranks but will not fire,
*No DTC codes
*Replaced fuel filter

Clutch making noise when engaged and relay to hazards on

Ford Ranger 1998 manule 2.5 l 170000 miles
My Pat's system has been bypassed. Then I get back to my truck one day and lights are flashing. Starter or clutch makes weird sound when engaged. Took out the clicking relay under the dash, and now it only makes the sound when head lights on. And cargo light won't turn off
