Still waiting for someone to help me, even now is still not working. I checked the fuse, all are okay. I even took out the canopy light to check if maybe the harness is damaged or cut off, but it's fine. Thanks
Oupa+ from South Africa a year ago
Someone advised me to take the canopy out, to check thoroughly whether the harness is properly routed, maybe it might be trapped. I'll let you know after i've done that

I have the same problem 2018 wildtrack fault code shows rear wheel speed sensor but the full wiring harness needs replacing. £950 at evans halshaw. It’s a joke these issues should not be happening in vehicles until they are 20 years old. All of you need to kick off with ford as I have.

Hi James what was the outcome with Ford after these problems were discovered having a lot of issues with my 2017 Ranger which seem to be the same problem

Stalls when driving

Ford Ranger 1996  180000 miles
Hi everyone, please help me. Some weeks ago, the ABS light started turning on occasionally and it now remains this way. I don't know if it has something to do but I've noticed the air conditioning is not working any more. After driving for some minutes in the city, I noticed a power loss; the vehicle slowed down and suddenly felt a jerk as if the engine wanted to stall. This event repeated two to three times until it finally stalled. At that moment, the engine could only be started after the third attempt. The following day, after driving for three blocks, the car stalled. In this opportunity,… Read complete

Check the engine's ground wire, it might be that the heat or movements made the screw loosen or get damaged, as everything you are talking about is electric. It might be that with the jerks and movements, the computer has desprogrammed and that is why it is giving that failure. Check it as well.

Check the EGR valve, as these valves basically need replacing usually after 150000kms

The ABS, ESC, and Hillstart warning messages on your 2019 Ford Ranger could indicate a problem with one or more of the vehicle's safety systems. ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System) and ESC (Electronic Stability Control) are important safety features that help prevent skidding and loss of control while driving. If these systems are not working properly, it can be dangerous to drive the vehicle.
To resolve these issues, you should have the vehicle inspected by a qualified Ford dealership or mechanic. They will be able to diagnose the problem using a scan tool and other diagnostic equipment and make the necessary repairs to get the ABS, ESC, and Hillstart working properly again.

Stalling when clutching, Unstable idle

Ford Ranger 2013 3.2 Manual 4x4 Doublecab 70000 miles
When I brake (and press clutch) the rpms drop lower than they should, often resulting in stalling. I have replaced the injectors, and serviced the vehicle but still nothing. My plan is to replace the idle air control valve, but if anyone knows what the problem is please let me know.

ABS brakes locking while driving

Ford Ranger 2016  180000 miles
Hi, my ranger’s breaks have been coming on while driving, lucky I has been driving slowly when this has happened, mechanic said it is a problem with the ABS braking system, and that it could happen at any speed and very dangerous. I know there was a previous recall on rangers for this problem but as there is no recall I have been told by ford that I will have to pay for the repairs. Has anybody had this? Or any advice? Thanks

Many failures

Ford Ranger 2012  200002 miles
I bought a Okm van and, only after a few kilometers, it has already presented many inconvenients: It trembles when starting, the brake fluid is consumed, it stalls, an annoying sound is made when driving at low speed, the hood is bent, the steering wheel trembles quite a lot, the engine is powerless, the car trembles when the cooling fan starts, there is an oil leakage through the engine and even the front bumper is loosening. As you might see, there are quite a issues with this van.
