Mine does the same ans so does my buisness partners. Its actuator that controls a vent. Behind the glove box. There are more than one. You can hold each one to find which is clicking. Then replace it.

Rear windows do not work

Ford Ranger 2013 Ford ranger2013 40000 miles
I have had my mechanic look at this. His conclusion was there was power to the rear so the motors may be faulty. Windows developed fault about 2 months apart. Thanks Ron. S.

I talked with a friend who has a Ford Ranger. He said his 2001 doesn't have any door lights either and it is standard for them not to have light.

10 failures

Ford Ranger 2012  40000 miles
These are the failures I have encountered with my vehicle: 1. Manufacturing problem: it did not bring kid locks in the back doors. 2. Door rubbers fall. 3. At its second maintenance after 10000 km, the fuel pump was not working any more. 4. The radio turns off and the volume cannot be raised. 5. The gearbox is failing: third gear won't enter. 6. The parking button does not work. 7. After 28000 km, the reverse started failing. 8. When the air conditioning is on, there is a considerable power loss. 9. Braking system failures: most noticeable when turning. 10. Strong burning smells coming from the engine. Can someone help me solve this situation?
