Dashboard fault

Ford Mondeo 2009 2.0l tdci hatchback 130000 miles
Dashboard looses power. Non of the guages or lights work but the car continues running normally with no problems. Heater also fails to light up but this also blows air as normal. Indicators, radio, hazard lights, side and headlights all still work normally, cruise control is not effected milage and trip meter records milage as is shown when power comes back on which may be within seconds or could be minutes or not until next time you start the car.

Stalled and did not start

Ford Mondeo 2002  178000 miles
Hi, I own a Ford Mondeo Ghia and it happened to me that it suddenly stalled and did not want to start working again. The car was towed to a mechanic, the fuel filter was replaced and the engine started. Some days later, the vehicle started stalling when driving, either at 10 or at 75 mph. It now does it around 3-4 times a day and the orange light indicator turns on. One mechanic told me it is a problem with the fuel pressure, which is quite expensive to solve, but another one told me the failure might be caused by another thing. I really do not know what to do. Has this ever happened to anyone before?

Hi, I also have a Mondeo which experienced your same problem and, when changing the pump's diesel regulator, the problem disappeared.

The crankshaft sensor has been replaced, the belt was a bit stretched but the car continued failing. I have now been told that the problem might be in the electronic control unit.

Hi, anse. Regarding the tire monitor fault, most probably the monitor that goes in each of the tires is damaged and needs to be replaced. In my case, I needed to change more than one. And as regards damaged ACC, it is a more serious problem because it is the Adaptative Cruise Control that is failing and it might be caused by the radar on the front grille, in front of the air conditioning dissipator, or by the module that controls that function. In both cases, the repair is quite expensive. Hope it helps you find a solution.
