Sometimes I can turn the key to crank it & nothing happens, it's not the battery, then when I remove the 27 fuse (under dash) put it back it will then crank up. I didn't have any problems until I removed it to see if that would be a good place to run a Killswitch from
Hi Jon, just wrote a mess. Got wiped out. Anyway I got some what the same problem. I have a 2011 super duty. I traced it down so far up to the ECM relay. Bought a $20 from the parts store... It gets hot then doesn't work. I found that one of the terminals is corroded (I believe its a terminal connected to the ground bus bar in the block. I plan to clean it and buy the correct relay. The right relay has a resister in it the generic doesn't. Fords is around $70 + -) by the way it also caused a communication problem with the DLC. And all sort of other comm issues. I also have a comm problem with my trans module and navigation mod. Unrelated I believe. Hope this helps
