The truck will crank but has no power to coil ignition module or fuel shutoff switch (inertial) we hav jumped between 2 and 6 in the eec connector and still no power to switch checked main ignition switch and all wires have power in the run position found a bad wire to main fuse panel under hood to the # 22 fuse repaired and restored power. Had ignition mod. Tested used noid light on injectors verified spark replaced all 6 injectors verified base timing and plug wire location HAVE Questions about noid light test seems the light is blinking way to fast when cranking like its seeing every cylinder pulse signal not just the one I am connected to ???
Ignition switch: If the ignition switch is faulty, it may not be sending the necessary power to the coil packs.
Engine control module (ECM): If the ECM is faulty, it may not be sending the necessary signals to the coil packs to activate them.
Ignition control module (ICM): If the ICM is faulty, it may not be sending the necessary power to the coil packs.
Wiring issues: If the wiring between the ignition switch, ECM, and ICM is damaged, it may not be sending the necessary power to the coil packs.
Poor connection: If there is a poor connection between the coil packs and the wiring, it may not be receiving the necessary power.
To diagnose the issue, you may need to use a diagnostic scanner and check for any codes related to the ignition system. If there are any codes, it may point you in the direction of the issue.
