My 97 ford explorer XLT w 5.0 and all options except cruise control, has a intermittent electrical problem, it starts fine and charges fine then sometimes the starter solenoid just clicks or the alternator will not charge, I have replaced the ignition switch, starter relay, solenoid and starter, and replaced the alternator checked all fuses and it works as it should sometimes and then will not start or not charge when it starts any help would be greatly appreciated
My explorer was doing fine and all of the sudden I went to leave the store and it won't go into any gear at all park works fine no OD light flashing and no check engine light on so no codes what can it be
Bought the explorer a week ago. Had to jump start it to move it. Only blinkers and hazards were not working. Got it home and pulled battery to charge, checked fuses, then next day installed battery that was in it. When truck was fired up and running. Found that the power windows, interior overhead lights(dome), stopped working, the 4x4 hi/low range indicator light on dash is blinking+switch on dash will not do anything either, went today for another test drive and when I got back ,shut off engine, battery was dead,no start. Different battery in truck running- volt meter read 13.5. Is there a control module for these items. And do i replace alt due to low output.
El problema es que cuando quiero salir en directa la transicion se queda comonsi estuviera en neutro y para poder avanzar tengo que salir en primera y posteriormente pasar a segunda y a directa después función a bien hasta que se ponga en pasquín o retroceso. Gracias

It's seems to not shift all the way to top gear. Also, after a night of sitting in cold weather. Doesn't kick into gear right away. Takes a few seconds then it gets going. Both reverse an drive it does this. But when the engine is warmed up it drives perfect. But after a few miles of driving the check transmission light comes on and if I don't stop the transmission overheating light comes on. Also the low oil temperature light comes on. All fluids are good. Had mechanics change oil an tran fluid and everything is as it should be. It is a rebuild transmission. What kind of problems am I looking at. What could it be. Solenoid , computer modulator, or a faulty sensor. Hoping it's something I don't have to pay to much to fix. Desperate for any tips before I take it in. Thanks
