I jump started a friends carán now my car woont start without having to charge it ? it clicks and lights flash and bells go off. What can I do? remove the factory settings check fuses?

I see you asked this over a year ago but I can't tell if anybody answered it or not. I'm sure that it has been fixed for a long time now but just wanted to say when you jumped your friend off even if your battery was brand new you could have dropped a cell in the battery and that would cause it not to be able to come up to a high enough voltage to start your car anymore basically just killed your own battery. I am familiar with this because I had a brand new car and I jumped my 58 pick up off and it took an extra amount of time to get it charged up to work with start and then it pulled my car engine down when I started it and that's exactly what happened I dropped the battery cell and ruined that brand new battery luckily it was under warranty.
