Car goes into limp mode if I accelerate to hard

Toyota Hilux 2005 3 litre 300000 miles
I’ve been having problems with my Toyota Hilux that it goes into limp mode. If I accelerate too hard, it’s been to the auto electricians and it’s been to Toyota it self. They have found problems fix them but it still goes into limp mode and when it goes into limp mode, I just have to turn the car off for about a minute and it resets.

Air intake sensor may be faulty. I have a 2009 hilux d4d and it did this on long trips. Replaced air intake sensor and was fine afterwards

Is that the same as the mafs air flow sensor, because that has been replaced already

I'm not clued up enough to know that... But basically the air intake into the engine there was a sensor there that was replaced. Good luck

Yeah ok I think that’s the same, had problems with my turbo, when it stated to go into limp mode, they replaced the turbo, kept happening, replaced a few of the plugs/ wires, then the mafs air flow sensor.
