Theft-deterrent desactivation

Chevrolet Colorado 2004  106000 miles
After driving my vehicle with no inconveniences for a couple of hours, suddenly the theft-deterrent is activated and the car won't start for at least 10 minutes.

It is the passlock resistance that is damaged. A competent technician who installs alarms will fix it easily.

You need to turn the key to the side that opens the driver's door and, at the same time, open the door gasket plate but without opening it. Do it for at least 30 seconds and your problem should be solved.
